During my time at Full Sail University I have completed the Project and Portfolio 1 class. This course has given me the tools to build my personal brand and how to market myself online. Throughout the class we were given the opportunity to create content in many different ways from writing blogs, to videos, even slideshow presentations. please take some time to view the video and see what sets me apart from everyone else.
Project & Portfolio 1: Personal Branding
Overview & Objective
At the beginning of this course we were asked to start exploring our personal brand and learning how much of an online presents we have. Through different projects and assignments we took steps to increase our own search results while trying to appeal to employers. Some of those assignments would include personal brand video and a brand slideshow presentation.
What did I learn
This course taught me different way to market my brand to those in my desired industry. I've added many ways to promote myself like creating an elevator pitch or a branded promise. Both of which are ways to tell others what they can expect from from you upon hire.
Skills & Software
Powerpoint was used to create this presentation. I used Adobe Portfolio to create a place to showcase my work and projects. I also created a blog using Wordpress.com.
